Super League

WOMEN'S

The St-Lambert Locks women's team is currently in the Super League division and competes against the best teams in the province. In 2022, they finished in first position, with an undefeated record, in the Provincial 1 division. Historically, the club is made up of a 2 women's team, one dedicated to development and the other to competition.

Provincial 2

MEN'S

The St-Lambert Locks men's team is currently in the Provincial 2 division. Demoted in 2022, the team is looking to regain its place in Provincial 1 in the upcoming years. Historically, the club is made up of a 2 men's team, one dedicated to development and the other to competition.

Women's Head Coach

KEVEN BELOUIN

Beginning his playing career in 2011 in Sherbrooke, Keven has quickly made a name for himself on the Quebec rugby scene as a player and coach. He was notably part of the Sherbrooke, Saint-Lambert and Olympic Park clubs.

 

Between 2015 and 2017, he represented Quebec in rugby 7s and rugby 15s, then traveled to France in 2018 to gain even more experience as a player. In 2019, he became the coach of the Cégep André-Laurendeau rugby program and in 2021, he joined the coaching staff of the provincial junior men's teams.

Men's Head Coach

GUSTAVO ADOLFO ROCHA PARRA

The Locks welcome Gustavo Adolfo Rocha Parra as the men's team head coach and offseason physical trainer for both the men's and women's teams.

In Colombia, Gustavo has been involved in rugby locally, provincially and nationally. His varied experience has allowed him to develop skills that will be of great use to the Locks. With his World Rugby level 3 coaching training, Gustavo is part of a handful of coaches who have this training in Quebec. As a player, Gustavo played at an elite level between 2004 and 2008 on the Bogotá provincial team and on the national team in 2007.

Women and Men's Forward Coach

MARK TANNER

Mark has an impressive track record, having played rugby since he was a child. Between 2003 and 2018, he played in England with Selby RUFC, a club with which he won the RFU Senior Vase in 2013, among other achievements. In addition to his English experience, in 2011 he moved to New Zealand for a year to join East Coast RFC.His coaching career began a few years later, in 2017, where he took on the role of assistant coach for Selby’s U18 women’s team. Then, in 2018, he moved to Montreal and joined the Locks, where he has been playing and supporting the coaching staff since.
